Anuva Wines is a young, ambitious startup import company and wine club dedicated to finding the best boutique wines of Argentina and South America for the US market. We are seeking energetic, self-starting, sales driven people to increase revenue, network and promote our business.

We are currently a 4 person company so new hires will be absolutely integral team members with extremely high potential for salary growth and other benefits.

All candidates must have documented sales experience (preferably in commission only sales environment as this is a commissions driven position), understand traditional as well as online and social media networking, be proficient with excel and other pertinent software, learn quickly, be adaptable, and maintain a cheerful and optimistic attitude.

Sales reps will be responsible for selling wine club memberships and wine online to the general public in their designated area as well as to local businesses. They will accomplish this through performing wine tastings in private, semi-private and public settings where their presentation skills must shine. There will be very little regular supervision on this job so sales people must be self-motivated and well organized. High performance will be rewarded as this is a young, new company that will be promoting people quickly.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Make outbound phone calls to corporate and retail accounts to generate new leads, provide information, and follow-up.
• Participate in various outbound and inbound telephone outreach projects as assigned.
• Report daily/weekly/monthly production on all projects.
• Assist in the appointment process.
• Make references where possible.
• Create a local network and client list through cold calling, online networking and other networking activities to promote sales.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree preferred; at least 3 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Ability to plan, organize, and implement a range of sales promotion programs and/or events.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
• Skill in budget preparation and fiscal management.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Knowledge of retail and/or wholesale sales principles, methods, and techniques.
• Can analyze and solve problems.
• Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-range goals.
• Ability to coordinate and organize meetings and/or special events.
• Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
• Knowledge of wine, wine tasting, wine appreciation preferred but not necessarily required.

Salary Information: 30k-60k in commissions
