Job Description:

Regular Full time

Coordinate all direct import orders from our distributors with the respective exporting country. Work with freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure all documentation is complete and timely for shipments to be cleared into the US. Assist supply chain to identify inventory stock need s of imported products state side. Continue to refine reporting on our import business. Develop working knowledge of our export business.
•Review all orders for Italian, Chilean, and French wines and champagne.
•Process Direct Import Shipments for distributors and place with the respective country.
•Maintain schedule of Direct Imports with updated shipping information.
•Review all import documentation for accuracy and respond to Exporter when needed.
•Work with distributor forwarding agents for shipping instructions and custom brokers for documentation needs.
•Prepare inventory reports with current vintages of Italian and Chilean wines that are shipping domestically and on direct import containers.
•Process imported wine sample requests.
•Review shipping reports from Exporting countries to ensure timely shipments.
•Work directly with distributors and Ste Michelle Wine Estates sales staff on their needs for import product information or direct import order needs.
•Develop allocations for import products and process to work with customer service coordinators.
•Monitor imported wine stock at SMWE Paterson, and assist in identifying quantities to order from Italy, Chile, and France.
•Audit all invoices for import product movement for accuracy.
•Maintain files for import business to distributors and for warehouse stock
•Cross train for export order processing.
•Record and report on specified daily customer service metrics.

•Perform other related duties as assigned
•Participate on project teams to refine processes critical to sales order
•Off ice setting, ergonomically positioned work stations. 5 day work week.
No lifting over 35 lbs. Computer work 70% of the time. Telephone usage on and off all day.

High School Diploma and minimum two year business degree required.
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
2- 5 years import experience required, export knowledge preferred.
Strong report development skills preferred.
Computer literate-JDE software knowledge preferred
Strong clerical, math and communication skills required.
Ability to handle pressure situations in a professional manner
Inventory control experience, as well as warehouse and shipping knowledge preferred.
Ability to deal well with diverse cultures, personalities, and professional levels
Highly self motivated
